Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, as well as a Master of Education in Elementary Education from Alabama A&M University. He is also a certified school bus driver. In 2019, Jonathan was honored as the Sons of the American Revolution National Elementary History Teacher of the Year.
