Chapel

Chapel

Grounded in God’s Word | Growing Together | Glorifying Christ

At Athens Bible School, each school day begins with Daily Chapel, a Christ-centered time of worship, reflection, and encouragement for all students. Each chapel service includes singing, prayer, and a short devotional talk designed to encourage students to live out our school’s Spiritual Theme every day.

  • Elementary Chapel takes place first thing each morning, offering age-appropriate worship and teaching for our youngest students.
  • High School Chapel follows, bringing students in grades 7–12 together for a time of shared spiritual focus.

Fridays are extra special as our students take the lead:

  • Elementary students lead their chapel service on Fridays, sharing songs, memory verses, and prayers with their peers.
  • High school students also lead chapel every Friday, taking responsibility for songs, Scripture readings, prayers, and lessons.

Chapel is a meaningful tradition that helps set a positive, Christ-centered tone for the entire school day at ABS.
