Student Life – Middle & High School
At Athens Bible School, student life in Middle and High School is built around a clear purpose: to help students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. With this year’s spiritual theme, “Take Up Your Cross and Follow Me” (Luke 9:23), we are intentionally guiding students to live out their faith with courage, service, and commitment—both inside and outside the classroom.

Faith First
Spiritual growth is at the heart of everything we do.
Daily Bible Classes help students build a deep and personal understanding of God’s Word.
Daily Chapel brings the entire student body together for worship, reflection, and connection.
Opportunities to lead prayer, read Scripture, or share devotionals help students develop their voice and faith.
Our spiritual theme is woven into lessons, conversations, and activities throughout the year, encouraging students to live with purpose and follow Christ daily.
Opportunities to Grow & Lead
Beyond the classroom, students are encouraged to explore their gifts, serve their community, and grow as leaders through a variety of clubs and organizations:

More Than Involvement—A Sense of Purpose
At ABS, student life is about more than just filling a schedule. It’s about building a Christ-centered identity—one that emphasizes:
Strong character
Deep faith
Lasting friendships
A heart for service
Whether leading in chapel, serving on a club project, or striving for excellence in academics, ABS students are equipped to live out Luke 9:23—denying self, taking up their cross daily, and following Jesus.
They’re not just preparing for college—they’re preparing for life.
