Mrs. Erin Russell earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama in 2006. She began her teaching career at Blossomwood Elementary in Huntsville, where she taught fifth grade for three years. Mrs. Russell joined Athens Bible School in 2019, teaching 5th and 6th grade English Language Arts through 2023.
In May 2024, she became certified to teach high school English and currently serves in that role at ABS. Since 2019, Mrs. Russell has taught curriculum from the Institute for Excellence in Writing and is actively working toward becoming an officially trained IEW instructor.
She brings a passion for literacy, strong instructional experience, and a deep commitment to student growth to the ABS classroom and community.
