ABS Named a Semiquincentennial School
Honoring 250 Years of American Independence
We are proud to announce that Athens Bible School has been selected as an official Semiquincentennial School — a distinction awarded to schools that demonstrate exceptional commitment to teaching the founding principles of our nation.
To commemorate this honor, we proudly raised a new Semiquincentennial flag on campus. 
The recognition comes from the USA Semiquincentennial Commission in Alabama and The American Village, signifying that ABS has met all criteria ensuring our students:
* Develop a strong understanding of the founding principles of the Declaration of Independence
* Recognize how and why these principles have shaped Alabama’s history
* Understand how these enduring ideas will continue to influence Americans, the United States, and people around the world
We are honored to receive this distinction and remain committed to teaching truth, history, and citizenship to the next generation.
