DAR Good Citizen Award Recipient

Trenton Barksdale was recently awarded the DAR Good Citizens Award.  This award is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship.  The DAR Good Citizens Program is open to all senior class students and seeks out those students bearing the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.  Only one student may be selected by the faculty to receive this award each year.

Trenton is now eligible to enter the state essay competition, the winner of which will receive a scholarship and qualify to compete at the national level for a $5,000 scholarship and an invitation to Washington D.C. to be a part of the DAR Continental Congress.

We are thankful to have Trenton as one of our students and wish him the best of luck in his advancement toward the national level.
