School Share Program

 

Dear ABS Families,
 
 
We are so appreciative of the families associated with Athens Bible School and we want to make it a little easier for your family to afford the cost of private school tuition.  A program is being provided that ABS families may use to reduce the cost of their school tuition. This program is called “School Share” and it is a Scrip for Tuition program that does not require you to do any selling, or spend any money that you don't already spend.
 
 
What is Scrip?
Scrip is the terminology used for gift/shopping cards that are purchased by families to help lower their tuition and help ABS.
 
 
How do I register?
Sign and turn-in a School Share Agreement Form and return it to the Development Office.  You may download an agreement form here:  School Share Agreement Form

 

How does the tuition reduction part of 'School Share' work?
The retailers of these cards charge us only a portion of the face value of the card. We use that discount (usually 2-12%)  to help offset school operating costs and pass 50% of the discount to the families registered. 
Example: If you purchase a card  from Chili's with a 10% discount, your tuition credit is 5% and the school receives 5%. ABS School Share is a win-win for our school and our families.  Our scrip will run year-round. Twice a year (December and May) ABS School Share will calculate the credit earned by each family and report that to the business office.

When can I order my scrips?
  • Orders for scrip can be submitted every Monday (with exceptions to holidays) by 12:00 NOON. Forms will be available on the website, Development Office, & Main Office.  Click here to download the scrip order form:  Scripzone Order Form
  • Order pick-up will be on Friday between 9am - 3pm. You may designate your student to bring them home on the Enrollment Form.
  • Note: other family, friends, co-workers may also purchase scrip on your behalf by listing your family name on their order form.
  • There are more scrip merchants available at http://www.scripzone.com. If using a M/C or Visa, we ask that you order online if the percentage is under 6%. (see order form for %)
 
 
Will there be any Scrips available in the office?
Yes. We will justify our inventory as we begin to assess what are the most popular cards.
 
 
 
Advantages to this Program:
  • ABS School Share Scrip Program will generate revenue for our families and the school.
  • You can budget your monthly buying by purchasing the Scrip Cards and using them instead of a debit card which is not generating monies back to your family!
  • You will be purchasing your groceries, gas, clothing, eating out, gifts, etc. and helping your family/school.
