Middle School Game Summaries

The ABS Middle School baseball team played the Randolph Raiders March 3 and defeated them 15 to 9. Jacob Hagewood gave up 8 hits, walked 4, struck out 8 and gave up 6 earned runs over 5 and 2/3 innings. Marshall Smith pitched 1/3 of an inning and gave up one hit. At the plate, Cameron Abernathy went 4 for 4 with 3 singles and a double. He also stole 5 bases. Smith had 3 singles and 3 stolen bases. Hagewood had 2 singles and a double and 2 stolen bases. Samuel Bobo had 2 singles and 2 stolen bases. Blake Cundiff had 2 singles and a double. Garrett Ball, Joseph Comer, and Nathan Robertson all had a hit for the Trojans as well, The young Trojans are off to a good start and are looking forward to a great season!
