Congratulations to ABS senior Lauren Clark who was chosen to receive a $1,000 scholarship from the WHNT Channel 19 Tools for Schools College Scholarship Program. Lauren is one of four students out of 180 to receive the scholarship.

Besides cheerleading, band, editing the school newspaper, and tutoring students in math, Lauren also volunteers in the ICU and nursery at Athens-Limestone Hospital. She chose to write about her memorable experiences through volunteering with CASA, foster children, and Community Changers, which helps low-income individuals who need home repairs.
