Matthew Leopard participated in the Federal Reserve's "Day at the Fed" on November 6, 2007. Matt joined with other students of government and economics from north Alabama in a day long seminar on the role of the Federal Reserve in the United States' economy, the consequences of economic decisions, and other topics specifically relating to fiscal policy. The event was conducted at the Federal Reserve office located in Birmingham, Alabama.
