Academics

Athens Bible School sets a high standard of excellence for students attending the school. Athens Bible School has been accredited for well over 60 years. The State of Alabama accredited the school until 1999. Alabama no longer accredits schools. Since 1999, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) has accredited ABS.

ABS uses SATS scores as a diagnostic tool, not as a summative evaluation of our program. However, as a national comparison to other schools ABS's entire school average has been above the 80th percentile for over a decade. We have had numerous National Merit Semi-Finalists and commended students.
