Mrs. Chandler's Geometry Class

The juniors in Mrs. Chandler’s Geometry class recently did some hands-on learning. They spent one day building towers from toothpicks and miniature marshmallows. The tallest was over 12 inches tall.

Then they spent a few days building bridges using only Popsicle sticks and white glue. When we tested them to see which was the strongest we were all surprised to see how much weight they held. The strongest held over 15 pounds!
