Athens Bible School uses the Standford Achievement Test (SAT) series as a diagnostic tool for its elementary students. On average, ABS students' scores on these exams demonstrate an academic aptitude that is two grade levels higher than the students' actual grade level. In a national comparison to other schools, Athens Bible School's average scores on these exams have been above the 80th percentile for over a decade.
Athens Bible School offers both regular and advanced diplomas, as well as Dual Enrollment College courses in English and Spanish. If a student takes all available dual enrollment classes offered at ABS, he/she may graduate with over 26 hours of college credit. Over the last 20 years, 18 students have been named National Merit Scholars. One hundred percent of our 2014 graduates were accepted into the college of their choice, with over half of those graduates receiving an academic or athletic scholoarship. Our students have excelled at the local, state, and national levels in such events as the Beta Club, the Scholars Bowl, and the History Fair.
